St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Tufts University and a member of Steward Health Care, celebrates its 100th anniversary in Brighton this month. A Mass with Cardinal Seán O’Malley highlighted the observance on Monday, September 22, 2014 and many members of the community including local legislators, business leaders and St. Elizabeth’s health care partners participated.

Nashoba Valley Medical Center Acquires New Olympus EVIS EXERA III Endoscopy System to Help with Earlier Detection of Digestive Diseases

Nashoba Valley Medical Center is among the first hospitals in the region to acquire the Olympus EVIS EXERA III video endoscopy system at its facility in Ayer, Massachusetts. This new endoscopy system uses a video processor, light source, endoscope and monitor, enabling physicians to peer inside the body to diagnose, detect and treat gastrointestinal (GI) diseases and other conditions.
