Beginning this summer, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute will provide hematology and medical oncology care under a new agreement at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, a part of the Steward Health Care System (Steward). This new partnership enables St. Elizabeth’s patients with cancer to remain in their local hospital and receive world-class cancer care provided by experienced Dana-Farber doctors and nurses in partnership with their Steward doctors.

Steward will file an application with the Department of Public Health to add Merrimack Valley Hospital to the Holy Family Hospital license. The approval process is expected to take several months.
