Steward Malta, MCOPi and the Maltese Government collaborate to support the rehabilitation of Ukrainian war amputees in Malta
6 December 2022 – Leading prosthetics provider MCOP International (MCOPi) and Steward Health Care Malta (SHCM), with the support of the Ministry for Health, will assist as many as 24 amputees and victims of the conflict in Ukraine by providing prosthetics in St. Luke’s Hospital over the coming 12 months, as part of “Operation Renew Prosthetics”.
Sharon Regional Medical Center to host Men's Health Screening Event in Honor of Movember and Prostate Cancer Awareness

On Wednesday, November 30 at 5pm, Sharon Regional Medical Center will host a free Men’s Health Screening event at the Hermitage Diagnostic Center located at 2435 Garden Way in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. Community members are invited to join Sharon Regional’s Urology team as well as other clinical staff for an insightful evening focused on men’s health, wellness, and non-surgical options for enlarged prostate. Free screenings including PSA’s, blood pressure and body mass index (BMI) will be offered as well as educational materials, refreshments, and giveaways.
Sharon Regional Medical Center's Laboratory Achieves Re-accreditation from the College of American Pathologists

The Accreditation Committee of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) has awarded re-accreditation to Sharon Regional Medical Center’s Laboratory, based on results of a recent on-site inspection as part of the CAP’s Accreditation Program. The CAP serves patients, pathologists, and the public by fostering and advocating excellence in the practice of pathology and laboratory medicine. The Laboratory at Sharon Regional is one of more than 8,000 CAP-accredited facilities worldwide.
