Breast Cancer Awareness “Think Pink Tea”

Glenwood Regional Medical Center, has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR).

By awarding facilities the status of a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, the ACR recognizes breast imaging centers that have earned accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, and breast ultrasound (including ultrasound-guided breast biopsy).

Glenwood Regional Medical Center will dedicate a newly renovated playroom provided by Shelby’s Wish Foundation on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 10am in Pediatrics (2nd floor east).

Medical technology is always improving. Even in the area of pregnancy, science has come a long way in just the last 10 years so that doctors can learn more about the unborn and act to save them.

“Ninety-nine percent of the time, we can tell the pregnant woman that everything is going to be fine,” Dr. Joseph Bruner of the Regional Perinatal Center of West Texas said of the tests they do.

A new center may mean successful healing for those with chronic or non-healing wounds in the Odessa area.

Odessa Regional Medical Center hosted an open house Monday to show off its new Wound Care Center on the west campus.

West Monroe, Louisiana – Glenwood Regional Medical Center will hold a dedication ceremony for our newly built helipad on Thursday, April 9 th at 2:00pm. The helipad is located adjacent to the ED/Education Complex Parking Lot. Pafford Air One will land their Air Medical Helicopter at 2:00pm. The dedication ceremony along with an opportunity to meet the flight crew of Pafford Air One will follow the landing. The newly constructed helipad was completed in March and is the only healthcare facility helipad in the twin cities.

Program will Help to Manage Inpatient Care Improve Outcomes and Enhance Hospital Efficiency
