Jan Rothschild, MD Joins Steward Surgical Associates in Brockton
 
Good Samaritan Medical Center is pleased to welcome Jan Rothschild, MD, FCAS, breast surgeon, to the Department of Surgery.
 
Dr. Rothschild comes to the hospital with decades of experience treating women facing a breast cancer diagnosis and will work in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to address the breast health needs of patients in our community.

Good Samaritan Medical Center Lung Cancer Screening Shows Results

 
Low Dose CT Screening has proven beneficial in diagnosing cancer early
 
Good Samaritan Medical Center began offering low-dose CT (LDCT) lung cancer screening to patients with a higher risk of developing lung cancer just over a year ago. The medical center anticipated their number of screenings to coincide with data from national trials of 150 in the first year.  However, in the last year Good Samaritan Medical Center has performed nearly 500 screenings.

A resident of Norwell, MA, Dr. Brown is well-known in the South Shore and South Coast region as being a highly experienced and capable physician with a focus on OB-Gyn surgeries.
