DAISY Recipient September 2022–Bryce Hollier

This month's DAISY recipient at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas is Bryce Hollier, an RN in the ICU!

Bryce demonstrated the utmost compassionate care for one family going through one of the hardest times of their lives. Multiple family members felt compelled to recognize him for the amazing work he did and the care he provided to their dad while he was in our care.

“Bryce took care of my dad and was such a phenomenal nurse. He was very educational and supportive with my family and I while my dad was on the vent. He deserves recognition for all his amazing work!”

DAISY Recipient August 2022–Rita Bass

The Medical Center of Southeast Texas names it's August DAISY Award recipient – Rita Bass, an RN in the Behavioral Health Department who was nominated by her patients for this award!

DAISY Recipient March 2022–Parker Kidder

This month's DAISY recipient at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas is Parker Kidder, an RN in the ICU!

“Parker always has a smile on his face and is happy to help wherever needed.

He was sent to the telemetry floor and had a patient that was coming down to ICU after a procedure. To help relieve the patient and family of anxiety he sat and gave them a run down on the unit.

All his patient's have nothing but positive feedback about him.”

DAISY Recipient February 2022–Brad Bonham

The Medical Center of Southeast Texas is excited to announce the recipient of the DAISY Award for February 2022 is Brad Bonham, an RN in the ICU.

Here are some of the reasons he was nominated for the award:

"Brad Bonham is an ICU charge nurse who always responds to rapid responses. He evaluates the patient with great clinical skill and expertise and coordinates the team to ensure the patient gets the best care. He also ensures the family members are comforted, reassured and updated."

Extraordinary Nurses Recognized at Norwood Hospital

Norwood, MA – January 31, 2017 – Nurses at Norwood Hospital are honored throughout the year with The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. The award is part of the DAISY Foundation's program to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform every day and has been presented at Norwood Hospital since 2014. The most recent recipient was honored earlier this month in a surprise ceremony.
