TMC Receives DNV-GL Accreditation

Port Arthur, TX —April 27, 2015: The Medical Center of Southeast Texas announces the successful completion of its new accreditation process from DNV GL – Healthcare.

By earning accreditation, The Medical Center of Southeast Texas has demonstrated it meets or exceeds patient safety standards (Conditions of Participation) set forth by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. DNV GL’s accreditation program is the only one to integrate the ISO 9001 Quality Management System with the Medicare Conditions of Participation.

Wadley Regional Medical Center at Hope will be hosting its first annual Health Fair – Health Matters

Hope, Arkansas: Wadley Regional Medical Center in conjunction with UACCH Nursing program will present the first annual Health Matters community health and fitness fair on May 2nd from 10 am – 2 pm at Hempstead Hall. The health and fitness event will offer something for everyone. There will be booths with educational information, screenings and demonstrations.

SRMC Names 2014 Employee of the Year

Sebastian, FL – Lynn Musselman has been named 2014 Employee of the Year for Sebastian River Medical Center. The recognition is the highest honor a hospital employee can receive.

Employees are nominated for the award by their colleagues based on their commitment to patient care, their professionalism and their contributions on the job. Lynn Musselman was chosen from among 600 employees for the recognition.

Good Samaritan Medical Center included in 2014 Physician Group Honor Roll with Distinction

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care awarded 310 physicians affiliated with Good Samaritan Medical Center (GSMC), a part of Steward Health Care System, with the 2014 Physician Group Honor Roll award. The group was one of eight Steward physician groups honored this year and GSMC ranked among the top 25 percent of those measured annually.
