St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center Named Among Nation’s High Performing Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report

St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, a teaching affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine, has been rated “high performing”, the highest designation which can be earned, in procedures, including heart bypass surgery and knee replacement, along with treating heart failure in the U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals for Common Care ratings. The ratings evaluate more than 4,500 hospitals nationwide on common inpatient procedures and conditions.

New Quality-Based Accreditation From DNV-GL

Nashoba Valley Medical Center, in Partnership with Mount Wachusett Community College, Receives Nearly a Quarter of a Million Dollar Grant toward an Employee Health Care Training Program

Nashoba Valley Medical Center (NMVC) has been named a recipient of a $248,175 Health Care Workforce Transformation Grant to enhance its overall patient experience through an employee designated health care training program. NVMC has partnered with Mount Wachusett Community College (MWCC) to provide training to all 448 members of the hospital staff over a 24-month period.

Good Samaritan Medical Center is collaborating with The Brockton Boys and Girls Club during the annual Brockton Knocks Down Diabetes campaign to present a diabetes awareness and prevention program on Thursday, June 11, 2015.  The two-hour program will feature two interactive healthy lifestyle workshops, the 2nd Annual Youth Wellness Award presentation, raffles, and a free healthy dinner.
