Glenwood Regional Medical Center, a Steward Family Hospital, announces the successful completion of its new accreditation process from DNV GL - Healthcare.

In celebration of National Emergency Medical Service (EMS) week, Steward Health Care System held the “EMS Stewards of the Community” Award Ceremony on May 24. Boston-based Steward, which operates four hospitals across the Mahoning Valley, recognized three EMS providers including the Howland Township Fire Department’s Nate Durig for going “above and beyond” in their interactions with patients at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.

Sharon Regional Medical Center and Steward Medical Group are pleased to welcome the practice of Lawrence County Family Medicine to the Steward Health Care System. The physicians include Lawrence Fazioli, MD, and David Shober, DO, who have practiced in the area for 26 years.  They bring combined expertise in all areas of family medicine and offer high-quality care for patients in the New Castle and surrounding communities.

Steward Health Care Malta is part-sponsoring twenty staff members who have enrolled in the newly-launched MSc in Healthcare Management & Leadership being organised by the IDEA Leadership & Management Institute in collaboration with the Learning Institute for Healthcare Professionals. 

The course, which is the first of its kind in Gozo, was inaugurated by Hon. Justyne Caruana last Thursday at an event organised at Gozo General Hospital.
