Norwood Hospital Hosts Annual Teddy Bear Tea Donations
Norwood -- May 11, 2018 -- The Haglund Family of Norwood recently hosted their Annual Teddy Bear Tea in memory of their aunt and uncle who used to bring the girls to the Teddy Bear Tea held at the Ritz Carlton in Boston each year. Olivia, 18, and Isabel, 16, together with their parents, collected teddy bears and donated a portion of them to Norwood Hospital's Emergency and Pediatric Department patients. Thank you, Haglund Family!

Rockledge Regional Medical Center and Steward Medical Group are pleased to welcome José Montalvo, MD. Dr. Montalvo specializes in adult cardiac and thoracic surgical care, which includes the heart, its valves, the lungs and other organs of the chest.

Pastoral Care and Chapel
Hospitalization is often a time of stress for patients and their loved ones. Members of our pastoral team represent all religious denominations and are on call 24-hours a day to provide comfort and counseling. Arrangements can also be made for patients who wish to contact their own minister, rabbi or priest.
The Chapel at Wadley Regional Medical Center is located on the main floor between the main lobby and the emergency department.

The Medical Center of Southeast Texas invites the public to visit their Port Arthur Hospital Lobby while they host the Heart Kids travelling art show from Monday, May 14 – Friday, May 31. This is a program of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
84 Year Old Stroke Patient Saved by Telemedicine
One year ago, 84-year-old Betty Ozen presented to The Medical Center of Southeast Texas with stroke symptoms. As a part of the hospital’s telemedicine program, she was examined by a neurologist 100 miles away in Houston. She has now made a full recovery.
