Mountain Vista Receives Stroke Program Recognition for Eighth Consecutive Year

Get With the Guidelines Gold Plus Award

MESA – Mountain Vista Medical Center, a member of the Steward Health Care family, has received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With the Guidelines® Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes the hospital’s commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines based on the latest scientific evidence.

Introducing a New Support Group for Mothers: M.O.M.S. (Moms Supporting Other Moms)

This week The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, a Steward Family Hospital, launches an innovative community program for women: Moms Offering Moms Support Group (M.O.M.S.). The group meets every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the hospital.

Good Samaritan Medical Center has received prestigious international recognition as a Re-Designated Baby-Friendly birth facility.
