Desmond previously served as President of the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in the early 2000s and oversaw its design and construction, which first opened in 2005. We are pleased to announce the appointment of Joshua Arkin, MD, to the medical staff. Dr. Arkin is board certified in Interventional Cardiology and General Cardiology.
Dr. Arkin completed his undergraduate work at University of Pennsylvania before attending Tufts University School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and was chief resident and a cardiology fellow at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania.
