The Medical Center of Southeast Texas Beaumont Campus to Host “CommUNITY” Event to Support Storm Victims

As recovery efforts continue for the Southeast Texas community following the devastating impact of Tropical Storm Imelda, The Medical Center of Southeast Texas Beaumont Campus will be hosting a “CommUNITY” event to serve a free lunch and collect certain donations for storm victims. This event is open to our entire community and all are welcome to attend.

Badal Kalamkar, MD, MPH, named Chief of Hospitalist Medicine

Badal Kalamkar, MD, MPH, has been appointed to lead Department of Hospitalist Medicine.



Dr. Kalamkar is board certified in Internal Medicine. He attended Topiwala National Medical College in India. He earned his Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology, from East Tennessee State University. 

He earned a medical degree and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at SUNY Medical University. He also completed a fellowship in Advanced   Hospital Medicine - Leadership track at Baystate Medical Center.

Odessa Regional Medical Center Expands Obstetrics, Primary Care, Orthopedic, and Surgery Services

Odessa Regional Medical Center (ORMC), a member of the Steward Health Care family, is expanding access to care in the community with the addition of multiple new physicians (Family Medicine, OB/GYN, General Surgery & Orthopedic Surgery). This expansion in services means patients have easier access when seeking medical care close to home.

ORMC Invites the Community to Run for the Cause

Cups for a Cause

ODESSA – (Sept. 17, 2019) – Odessa Regional Medical Center and Pink the Basin will host the sixth annual Cups for a Cause 10k/5k on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Crossroads Church, located at 6901 Texas 191 Frontage Rd .

Each September, ORMC partners with Pink the Basin to host Cups for a Cause, a fundraiser that also helps to raise breast cancer awareness for women throughout the Permian Basin.
