September 18, 2020 - Yesterday, Governor Abbott announced the easing of statewide restrictions on elective procedures, effective immediately. This is good news for patients who had to postpone certain medical procedures due to these precautions.
From serious conditions to aches and pains, the health care needs of the Permian Basin community did not stop. In her new position, Chatteron will be responsible for helping to maintain the financial health of the hospital by assisting with month-end closing tasks, compile and finalize financial information, year-end audit tasks, budget preparation, as well as enforce accounting policies and procedures. Amy has more than 10 years of finance leadership experience in healthcare operations.

Dr. Gary Mennie, Chief Medical Officer at Steward’s Medical Center of Southeast Texas, was profiled by U.S. News and World Report as one of their Hospital Heroes for his work during Hurricane Laura to evacuate COVID-19 patients ahead of the storm.
