On Oct. 18, 2023, Steward Health Care will join the Defense Department Spouse Education and Career Opportunities program and Military Spouse Employment Partnership for an induction ceremony and annual event in Alexandria, Virginia. Steward Health Care joins more than 70 new partners to MSEP — bringing the number of employers to more than 700.

The Boston Orthopedic Institute is now open in Middleboro, broadening patient access to expert care in the community. The new practice offers a full range of orthopedic care including comprehensive treatment of hips, knees, joints, orthopedic trauma, and podiatry.

MESA- Mountain Vista Medical Center, a Steward family hospital, and Jersey College have partnered to establish a School of Nursing on the hospital’s campus, serving the greater East Valley. The Jersey College Hospital-Based Professional Nursing Program is a six-semester program, culminating in an associate degree in nursing, providing its graduates with opportunities to become a registered nurse.

MESA – Mountain Vista Medical Center’s Imaging Department has once again been awarded a three-year accreditation in computed tomography (CT) as a result of a recent review by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Ali Kimyaghalam, MD, Vascular Surgeon, at Trumbull Regional and Sharon Regional Medical Center, completed the first Transcarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR) in Trumbull County. The TCAR procedure is now available at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.
