Curriculum

Categorical Internal Medicine

The Department of Medicine at Carney Hospital offers ACGME-accredited training in internal medicine. The internship year for the categorical internal medicine program includes four months in the critical care units, five months of medical wards, one month of interventional cardiology at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center and two elective months.

Students

As affiliates of Tufts University School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School, we are delighted to host medical students for required or elective family medicine experiences. We look forward to sharing with you our expertise in taking care of the whole family. We hope you will be excited by the diversity of clinical problems we see, the complexities of medical management for our patients, the gratification from office procedures we can perform for our patients right in the exam room, and the rewards in getting to know patients well over time.
