SEBASTIAN, FL - Sebastian River Medical Center will soon break ground on an approximately $64 million expansion to better serve the needs of the community. The project was announced earlier this year and after months of careful preparation, a ground breaking ceremony will be held on Monday, August 29 at 11:30 a.m. on the west side of the medical center grounds.

Norwood Hospital welcomed 16 local high school students from Norwood and Canton to the hospital for a week-long exploration in careers in healthcare (July 25-29, 2016). Students were introduced to more than 20 departments within the hospital including Environmental Services, Purchasing, Radiology and Imaging, Quality, Nursing, and Surgical Services.
