Norwood Hospital Promotes Breast Cancer Awareness
Norwood Hospital is recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness this October with the “Blow Away Breast Cancer” campaign. The team at Norwood has constructed a “Pinwheel Garden” in the inner courtyard of the hospital. Staff members and volunteers are invited to donate $1 toward a pink pinwheel to honor a loved one who has been impacted by breast cancer and to encourage community members to schedule their annual mammograms

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and it’s also a good time for women to think about mammograms and breast cancer screenings. On Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Women’s Imaging Center at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, 200 Groton Road in Ayer, Massachusetts, will host its annual Breast Health Day for women living in the Nashoba Valley region.
