Tempe St. Luke’s hospital advises pregnant women on allergies

You can’t hide from Lyme disease in Florida anymore. While most people think of the disease in connection with the northeast, Dr. Aisha Thomas-St. Cyr at Sebastian Infectious Disease Care and Steward Health says the number of cases of this tick-borne illness are likely to double in the Sunshine State this year.

Steward Health Care is proud to announce that Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital in Howland has been reaccredited for a period of three years by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)  for its inpatient rehabilitation programs – hospital (adults) and comprehensive vocational evaluation services programs.

SRMC is one of only 203 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor.  Sharon Regional has received this annual recognition consecutively since 2013.

Steward Health Care Malta today officially inaugurated the Orthotics and Prosthetics Unit at Karin Grech Hospital which is in partnership with renowned Prosthetics provider MCOPi. The centre which has now been seeing patients for the last months, provides a daily service to patients requiring an array of different prosthetic and orthotics devices.   

Effective Friday, June 15, 2018, Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital will no longer be providing labor and delivery/postpartum services at our facility. We want to thank our medical staff and dedicated hospital staff for the high quality health care that they have delivered to Tempe families.
