What is a liver biopsy?

A biopsy is the removal of very small pieces of tissue from a body organ, so that a pathologist doctor may examine under the microscope, to identify various types of disease.

What is Kyphoplasty?

Kyphoplasty may be recommended for cancer-damaged vertebrae or certain spinal fractures.

In most cases, a weakening of the bones (osteoporosis) has caused the vertebrae to compress or collapse, causing back pain. Spinal fractures can also cause a change in posture or loss of height.

Fluid can collect within the body, either as a result of a disease such as pancreatitis, diverticulitis or appendicitis, or sometimes after surgery done to treat other conditions.
