Morton Hospital, a Steward family hospital, will be a part of Civica Rx, a new, innovative effort to ensure essential generic medications are available, affordable and accessible to all.

Sharon Regional Medical Center will recognize National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day to be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2019.  This initiative started in 2015, to show support of law enforcement officers nationwide. In light of recent negativity directed toward law enforcement nationally, the National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.) is a day dedicated for all of America to show law enforcement officers that we recognize the very difficult and sometimes challenging career they have chosen, in public service to us all.  

Addition will enhance access to care – Glenwood Regional Medical Center and Steward Medical Group are pleased to welcome Family Doctors of Northeast Louisiana (NELA) to the Steward Health Care system. The team of nine has practiced in the area for 19 years and brings an expertise in primary health care services to provide high‐quality care for patients in the community.

Becomes founding member of Civica Rx; Mission-driven initiative aims to ensure essential generic medicines are affordable and available to all

DALLAS, TX, January 7, 2019 – Steward Health Care - the largest for-profit, physician-led health care network in the United States, today became a founding member of Civica Rx, the highly-collaborative not-for-profit generic drug company whose mission is to drive down costs and increase supply of life-saving medicines.

One white sock can draw attention and even raise some questions, and that is exactly what Scenic Mountain Medical Center (SMMC) staff members were going for, when they joined the White Sock Campaign. For three days, local businesses and organizations received visits from SMMC representatives wearing one white sock.
