Glenwood Regional Medical Center is participating in a Medicare initiative called the Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement (CJR) model. The CJR model aims to promote quality and financial accountability for care surrounding lower-extremity joint replacement (LEJR) procedures, commonly referred to as hip and knee replacements and/or other major leg procedures.

While the hospital is resuming elective surgery, Steward Medical Group primary care offices and specialty practices are welcoming patients back for in-office visits where appropriate and continue to see patients via telehealth virtual visits.

(BROCKTON, MA) Steward Health Choice, the second largest Medicaid Accountable Care Organization (ACO) in Massachusetts with more than 125,000 covered lives, has expanded its innovative doula program to members giving birth at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, MA. The program is a component of Steward’s Healthy Beginnings Program, which provides care coordination, free childbirth education classes, and other benefits to pregnant and postpartum members.
