MCH, ORMC Teaming Up to Test All Patients, Staff at Madison Medical Resort

Medical Center Hospital and Odessa Regional Medical Center are collaborating to test all patients and staff at Madison Medical Resort in Odessa. This comes after a patient from the Resort was brought to MCH this week and tested positive for COVID-19.

Arizona- A team of skilled medical care staff from Steward Health Care in Arizona are traveling to their sister facilities in Massachusetts. The team made up of registered nurses, respiratory therapists, and licensed practical nurses will be supporting their sister hospitals for the next two to four weeks assisting in the care of COVID-19 patients that is expected to surge in the next several weeks.

ORMC Nurses respond to call for help in Boston

Five ORMC nurses bravely volunteered to travel to Boston, Massachusetts on Friday afternoon to help other Steward Health Care hospitals that are on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic. A sendoff will take place at the Midland International Airport on April 10 at 1 pm.

A Board-Certified OB/GYN, Dr. Ayodele Olowookere received his Medical Degree from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ife, Nigeria, and completed an internship at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital. He completed residency at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Waterford Regional Hospital in Waterford, Ireland, and Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. Dr. Olowookere is licensed in Ireland, Nigeria, Ohio, and Texas.
Jennifer Boyle, MD
A Board-Certified OB/GYN, Dr. Jennifer Boyle received a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from University of Texas in Austin, Texas, and Medical Degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and is licensed in Texas. Dr. Boyle will provide on-site leadership as the Site Director of Ob Hospitalists for the Odessa Regional Medical Center team.

Dr. Leslie Chupp is a Board-Certified OB/GYN who is licensed in New Mexico and Texas. She received a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Houston Baptist University in Houston and Medical Degree from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Chupp completed an internship and residency at University of Texas Medical Branch.
