Our hospital has a convenient gift shop on-site where you can find items such as cards, flowers, magazines, and basic personal hygiene items.

Senior Care

Senior Care Services at Florida Medical Center

  • Senior Care Unit: provides comprehensive care that is specifically designed to address the needs of the elderly. The unit features a senior-friendly environment focused on safety and management of geriatric syndromes.
  • Senior Emergency Room: allows our senior patients to get fast, personalized care in the event of an emergency. Our hospital environment is specially designed for their comfort and safety. Features include:
    • Specialized nurse and physician training to improve care for the elderly

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy Services at Florida Medical Center

  • Inpatient Rehabilitation: after a surgery or treatment, you may be required to stay in the hospital and work with our therapy team to prepare for a safe discharge.

Diagnostic Imaging

Florida Medical Center now has one of the newest and highest-resolution magnetic resonance imaging scanners available: the Ingenia 1.5T system from Philips Healthcare. The high-field Ingenia 1.5T provides high image quality designed to aid diagnostic confidence, increase clinical versatility and improve productivity by shortening MRI exam times. In addition, patients will appreciate its many comfort-related features.
