BROCKTON - In commemoration of National EMS Week, Steward Health Care Massachusetts hosted an award ceremony to recognize some of Massachusetts’s brave first responders. The awards honored the important contributions of EMS professionals in safeguarding our community’s health, safety, and well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Announcing the DAISY Award recipient for April 2022 is Sierra Roberts, a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab department at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

This national distinction recognizes Nashoba Valley Medical Center’s achievements in protecting patients from preventable harm and error in the hospital. Texarkana, Texas — The American College of Cardiology has recognized Wadley Regional Medical Center (Wadley) for its continued demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients with chest pain. Wadley was re-awarded Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Primary PCI in March of 2022 based on rigorous evaluation of the staff’s ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who may be experiencing a heart attack. 

American College of Cardiology NCDR Chest Pain  ̶  MI Registry Silver Award recognizes sustained, high level performance in quality of care
 

TEXARKANA, TX, May 10, 2022 – Wadley Regional Medical Center has received the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR Chest Pain  ̶  MI Registry Silver Performance Achievement Award for 2022. Wadley is one of only 85 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor.

The  Gozo General Hospital (GGH) Emergency Department and the air ambulance service that links Gozo with Malta were featured in a news story broadcast on Malta’s national station, TVM on 10 May 2022.
