Colorectal Surgeon to Offer Free Seminar on Anal Cancers at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill
Colorectal Surgeon Jana Simonds, MD will discuss the diagnosis and treatment of anal cancers during a free seminar at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill on Tuesday, January 5, 2016.
During her presentation titled Common and Uncommon Anal Cancers, Dr. Simonds will talk in detail about the anatomy of the anal area, describe the common and uncommon types of anal cancers and what they look like, and explain how they are diagnosed and treated. The seminar is from 6-7 p.m.in the hospital’s first-floor auditorium.

St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center today announced that the medical institution has been selected as a member of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation’s (PFF) Care Center Network. As part of the PFF Care Center Network, St. Elizabeth’s will have access to a wealth of resources for both patients and caregivers and will collaborate with 39 other sites making up the Network across the country to advance the care of people living with pulmonary fibrosis (PF).

Glenwood will host a cholesterol lipid panel (LDL, HDL, VLDL) with glucose and blood pressure screening. The screening is to be held Monday, January 4th – January 8th.
