Nashoba Valley Medical Center works closely with Walden Behavioral Care and its patients to ensure expedited medical clearance for admission to its inpatient and residential programs. The collaboration is designed to anticipate and meet the needs of Walden Behavioral Care patients.
Specialized Care for Walden Behavioral Health
Prior to your arrival at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, Walden Behavioral Care will alert the team to your needs. When you arrive at our Emergency Room, our team which includes physicians, nurses, and technologists, will provide you with expedited care, usually with no wait, directly to a private room. From there you will receive the necessary tests to establish medical clearance.
In rare instances, patients may need to be admitted to Nashoba Valley Medical Center for medical stabilization prior to admission to Walden. If you need medical stabilization you will be admitted to a private room where our sensitive and experienced care team will work with you to quickly address your medical concerns. Once you are medically stable you will be quickly transferred to Walden.
We work with Walden Behavioral Care and your insurance provider for any pre-authorizations and are committed to returning you as quickly as possible to your program.
