Morton Hospital has been awarded an ‘A’ for achieving the highest national standards in patient safety from The Leapfrog Group’s Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 Hospital Safety Grades. The designation recognizes our efforts in protecting patients from harm and providing safer health care.
Nationally-Accredited Weight Loss Surgery Center
In April 2021, our bariatric surgery center earned accreditation as a Low Acuity Center by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP®), a joint Quality Program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
