St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center Task Force is seeking applicants for its Allston-Brighton resident scholarship. This scholarship is a direct result of a neighborhood partnership between St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center (SEMC) and the residents of Allston and Brighton. One winner who is pursuing a nursing degree will receive the Ann O'Flaherty Scholarship, named in memory of staff nurse Ann O'Flaherty who had a passion for helping fellow nurses learn and grow in their careers.
In 2022, St. Elizabeth's will award $5,000 scholarships to applicants admitted to healthcare related higher educational programs. Applications will open June 9, 2022.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a resident of Allston or Brighton (for a minimum of 5 years) with proof of residency.
- Applicant must be accepted and enrolled to an accredited college or university in pursuit of a career in health care.
- Applications must include all of the following information (no exceptions) and otherwise will be disqualified from the selection process.

Proof of residency can include driver’s license, utility bill, deed or lease, or other relevant documentation. Please be sure to provide at least two (2) proofs of residency.
