Spiritual and Pastoral Care is available to all patients, their families, and staff at Good Samaritan Medical Center. The interfaith team provides compassionate support and encouragement to people of all faith traditions.

Our chaplains and spiritual care staff know that spiritual well-being is as important as physical well-being and that being a patient or having a loved one in a hospital is a stressful time.

Spiritual Care staff can arrange for patients to see their priest, minister, rabbi, or clergyperson of their choice. Clergy of all faiths visit and counsel patients. 24/7 coverage for Spiritual Care Services is provided through the generous services of our local clergy.

As a Catholic hospital, we take special care to provide the Sacraments of Reconciliation (confession), Holy Communion, and Anointing of the Sick.
