Comprehensive Gender Affirmation Surgeries

At Palmetto General Hospital, we offer comprehensive gender affirmation surgeries to help individuals start the new beginning they’ve been dreaming of. We are one of the few hospitals in the United States to provide these procedures, and we follow the guidelines set by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) for gender transitions.

Our Compassionate Team

Our experienced and compassionate team of surgeons, specialists, nurses and staff are here to support you on every step of your transition journey, from setting up your first consultation with one of our surgeons to providing the post-surgery care you need.

What Is Gender Affirmation Surgery?

Gender affirmation surgery helps enhance several parts of the patient’s body to align with their gender orientation. For trans men, trans women, and gender non-confirming individuals the procedures may involve surgery of the body, chest, face and genitalia.

Our Services and Procedures

In some cases, gender affirmation surgery may be irreversible. This is also why the first step to availing our services is to undergo a mental health evaluation. Once the therapist has cleared you to move forward with gender confirmation, we may offer you one or a combination of the services on the reverse side of this flyer.
