Organ and tissue donations are life changing to many individuals such as in the case of Jerry Blankenship, a nurse at St. Luke’s Medical Center. A couple of years ago, Jerry suffered a decline in his health that led him to a liver transplant. As a result of his life changing experience Jerry now volunteers for the Donor Network of Arizona educating individuals on the importance of organ and tissue donation. If you would like to attend an educational session, St. Luke’s Medical Center has teamed up with Donor network of Arizona to host a Healthcare for Hope event April 10th from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
